Are you still curious? You are still looking for the connection between these three words. The answer is “green packaging”. Yes, you read right! A young inventor has found a 100% environmentally friendly way to make packaging products from cereal. First, it is made into a paste. Then, with the aid of a fungus, this cereal dough becomes an adhesive paste which hardens in a mold. The process can be used to generate hundreds of useful protective packaging forms. Ecological and economical packaging: the future is green hope
Initiatives, such as Eben Bayer, who founded Evocative company helps find lasting solutions to our challenges of reducing pollutants. According to the 3RV approach, the best way to pack is still reuse or recover which allows for reduction in the end. Many options are possible; solutions such as the ones we offer are optimal environmentally friendly choices
But the question remains: at what price?
The problem of environmental awareness is that it still carries an economic aspect when it comes to making green choices. Paying a premium for these choices seems to be a deterrent to making greener choices. Environmentally friendly packaging for sure, but much better when it is synonymous with economics when you look at the big picture.
